Carving the court…
Play classic chess against four levels of local AI on a sculpted stone board. Ivory and obsidian pieces move with weight and shatter into geometric fragments when captured. Choose white, black or random; full castling, en passant and four promotion choices. Local resume, full-turn undo and optional quick or reduced-motion animations. Desktop, tablets and phones; portrait-first mobile, sound off by default.
desktop, tablet, mobile. Single-player game. No human multiplayer.
Click or tap your piece, then a marked legal square. Desktop also supports drag-and-drop. Choose white, black or random and four real local Stockfish AI strengths. Standard chess with castling, en passant, checkmate, stalemate, insufficient mating material and queen/rook/bishop/knight promotion. Claim threefold repetition or fifty moves; fivefold repetition and seventy-five moves end automatically, with checkmate taking precedence. Undo the last complete human turn, restart, resign, toggle legal hints and fold the scorebook. P/Esc pauses, Space skips the current animation, M toggles sound. Board view buttons allow limited rotation and a higher angle. Legal results and statistics save before animation; resume the current position in this browser. No accounts, cloud sync or online multiplayer. AI runs in a local browser Worker, not Cloudflare Workers; no gameplay APIs. Phones favor portrait. Every visit is muted and language comes only from the portal URL.
This version is a solo chess game against four AI levels. AI runs locally in your browser; no online or local human multiplayer is included.
